Register for the Conference on the Impact of IT Professionalism on the European Economy

May 19, 2017 Erika Gutmane

The rapid and ever-progressing advancement of technology along with the current IT skills gap has been presenting one of the biggest challenges to both private and public sector organisations throughout Europe, with a huge impact on the European economy.

Therefore, the eSkills Malta Foundation, in collaboration with the European Commission, Capgemini, the Irish Computer Society and CEPIS, is organising a conference on the impact of IT Professionalism on the European economy on 14 June 2017 in Valletta, Malta.

The conference will bring together stakeholders of the IT Professionalism scene to debate issues such as IT professionalism in Europe, bridging the triangle of ICT industry, the IT Profession and education and training, succeeding in the further implementation of the IT Professionalism Framework, good practices of IT professional development for policy makers, industry and education and the evolution of the IT Professional within the context of fast digital transformation. Focus will also be accorded to the Maltese IT Professionalism landscape.
