e-CF TRAINING –

Efficient Recruitment and Management of IT Professionals

The IT Professionalism Europe (ITPE) network has developed an interactive learning experience to introduce the e-Competence Framework (e-CF) and its use for organisations in both public and private sectors.

What is the e-CF?

It is a competence framework for IT professionals. The e-CF consists of 40 general and comprehensive e-competences, classified according to five main ICT business areas, and specified at five proficiency levels that can be adapted and customised into different contexts. It is a European standard.

Who is the e-CF for?

ICT services, user and supply organisations, multinationals, SMEs, ICT managers, HR departments, individuals, educational institutions, certification providers, social partners, market analysts, policy-makers and other stakeholders.

What are the main uses of the e-CF?

  • Supports decision-making in selection and recruitment of candidates;

  • Solid guidelines to develop the qualification, training and assessment of ICT professionals;

  • Identification of skills and competences required to be a successful ICT professional;

  • Increased transparency, mobility and efficiency of ICT professionals due to its European perspective.

OBJECTIVES

 Upon completion of this programme, participants will be able to:

  • Understand and explain the structure and principles of the e-CF;

  • Identify skills gaps and formulate job profiles;

  • Develop and implement an action plan for the e-CF tailored to their organisation and needs.

 TARGET AUDIENCE

 HR/IT recruitment managers, people with some experience in competence development activities for HR/IT staff, IT competence and skills training providers and developers.

DURATION
